Oh such expression... Makes me sad too, it's really very emotional! I think it's a fantastic shot! Usually I don't like fences in front of animal photos but here it's perfect for the "meaning". Oh... that face... and those sad eyes... I just wanna open that fence and let him out!

The diagonal bars is a nice effect. Appears just be a bit soft, but doesn't detract much from the image. Definite tear jerker, this one. Nicely done.

"Very nice detail" Indeed! I think Ms. Kessler missed the point here.[that is of course if she gave it time to load. at 100 or so 4 word critiques per day, she is very busy]
This is a powerful image to say the least. I feel sad for this fellow too. I hope I never get roped in to going to the zoo [prison] for a long time. Great image Shane.
