This is in a very small town in the desert. Over the years I've seen the "No" part scrubbed off, then repainted later, several times -- maybe it's a seasonal swap meet? I've been experimenting lately with duo-toning, where I shoot in color, then convert to grayscale, then to duo-tone to give the image a slightly different feel, in this case a slightly warmer, richer look than straight b/w. The two colors here are black and a dark brown. (Steve K. got me into this duo-toning thing, so if you don't like it, it's his fault.)
i think the lighting is excellent, the composition is spot on... your decision to leave the top half of the frame as just sky is a good one. i like this.
Yea Larry..Duotone away and you'll have fun, BUT...you must learn not to shoot at noon all the time.

I like the angle and composition. It looks a little hot on my monitor... But I'm also working from a laptop. You should see how hard it's scanning and adjusting pictures on a laptop. Not fun. Great work!
