Great picture, Paul. The crisp detail of the bike demands attention in the foreground and brings our view out the front. At the same time, the viewer's eye is drawn down the road into the background. I like that sort of conflicting directionality

Thanks for your comment Jill. The bike's a BMW K1300R. I like to pull the camera out of my pocket when I have a break from riding, it gives me something to do while stretching my legs. Including the bike in the photo forces me to think about composition.
I'd love to see some photos of your BSA and/or Triumph. My stepfather used to own a JSA 500cc single cylinder many years ago, it was a marvellous looking bike in its time.

May I ask what make it is ? Many years ago when I used to ride it was all BSA and Triumph.

I saw Mark Knopfler play in Sydney with Dire Straits; fantastic show. They were initially booked for 2 shows and ended up doing sixteen.
