About To have a Tusker, is a FORTUNE for the jungle which owns it.
To have a Tusker, is a FORTUNE for the country
But...
To be a Tusker, is an UN FORTUNE for itself.

This Tusker is totally blind and is in the Elephant orphanage Pinnawala, Sri Lanka. Poachers shot both its eyes to prevent it from running away before they kill it. But fortunately an army battalion found it wondering in the jungle and return it to the orphanage.
Unlike its African cousins, only very few of the Asian
bull elephants has tusks. So they are so precious and so little to be found in the wild.
