Thanks for the tip mate... I'll keep it in my mind. What Im talking about the large butterflies, is that they always sit on tall trees. And I cant reach them. :(

Europe time good moning my friend,When you’re photographing butterflies, three things are almost always moving: the camera, the butterfly, and the flower it’s perched on. To help freeze the action and increase your chances of getting a sharp photo, use a fast shutter by increasing your ISO to 400, I think any telephoto (at least 200mm or 250mm) with a short min focus distance would be good for photographing butterflies...keep shooting.. riny

That's great mate. :) Where did you find all the butterflies in your profile? These are from my garden. They are the smaller ones. There are some big butterflies in the area, but can't capture them coz they suck from flowers of taller trees. Time to time they fly by my garden but unfortunately they do not stop. :( Some of them are as big as my palm... Any tricks to photograph one of 'em?
