About The ruins of the castle in Nowy Sącz. It was built in XIV century and rebuilt at the beginning of XX century. Such an old castle was used during the II world war as barracks and ammunition dump by Germans. And when the nazis had to escape, they didn't leave the castle just like that - they blew it up and destroyed almost totally >:(

Or some Americans talking about "POLISH death camps in Auschwitz-Birkenau" -.-
In Poland it's still hard to forget, as we were affected so much and we are kind of nation which likes to live in past a bit. Our late president had kind of mission to show the true history of that times to world, hope there will be more such people.

Every piece that refers to what the nazis did should be kept and saved as proof of what has happened, all beyond the imagination a human being possibly can have ...
They took the word "ausrottung" very literal, in most cruel details.

Still, coming generations will deny or forget ...........young maroccans in my country deny it already ....

Eh... My Ömer thinks the same, that it may happen again in some time, because even now people are talking about human rights and close eyes in cases of their breaking at the same time.
Still I hope WWII was enough lesson and people should get true information about that time as much as they can, watch the films and photos of people dying in camps or gulags, to become sick of what happened and that this sickness could fill in their minds with "never again".
A few years ago I was visiting the museum of Auschwitz with a friend from Argentina; I went out sick, and that friend was in shock; in his first impression he said that we should destroy such a place, but I told him that no, opposite - possibly everyone in the world should see this, and it should be known always, as the proof and warning.....
I hope that never again...

Yes, humans have that cruel part inside since long times. The Aztek/Inca culture was very cruel cutting out hearts of living humans, then we have Pol Pot regime in Cambodja ( killing fields ), the nazi's outclassed all of them ....... and it may happen again in future ..

That's a really big thing that Warsaw was reconstructed after the war (with Old Town actually completely reconstructed the way it looked like before), and in the same time I know that I've never seen real historical city more than on b&w photos, and will never see.
That war was a proof what a "human" being is able to do, and I still can't believe in; that couldn't be humans...
