Thanks folks. I had to take this picture. I've never seen a chicken before looking so dammned comfortable lying in a bed of freshly mowed grass. This must be chicken heaven.

Interesting perspective ! Though real close to the animal, we don't have the impression of bothering it. I merely read curiosity in its look (nice addition here). The background is a bit distracting IMHO and I would suggest cropping down a third from the top.

A very nice pose you coaxed out of her. I like the sharpness and the catchlight. Not too crazy about the blue though. Perhaps tone that down some but what the heck....this is a good one man!

Others might say the background isn't blurry enough, but I somehow think it is a good picture. Love the blue shadows on the chicken.
