Michael, this is a very nice night shot. The more I look at it, the more I see - it had to be late (you already said that), there are red lights with no cars waiting.
Imho, it's a tad overexposed - the street light on the left has really blown out. There's also a slight lean to the right (which I am guilty of myself, on occasion. ;) ) You could probably fix that with a slight crop and possibly lose the offending street lamp. :)
Overall, though, very nice - good perspective with the street leading the viewer in.
