we saw Mammoth terraces, but infortunately didn't see Tower Falls... Surely have to get back to Yellowstone someday ;-)

Jacques, glad this brought back good memories for you!! A wonderful park with many features to enjoy. Hope you got to see Tower Falls and the Mammoth Terraces as well. Some of my favorites in the park.

Glad you recognized the view. It is such an impressive area with the live water and the beautiful colors in the canyon walls. I am always delighted by the beauty every time I go through the park. So much to see any way you turn your head.

Thanks Nanda, I was standing on a steep drop off to get this one. The canyon is over 1000 feet deep at this point and would not want to fall in. It was almost straight down.

Thanks Dave, this was from the Grand overlook and is a real sight for the eyes. The wind was cool and the air crisp this day. Always love the beauty of this place.
