Thanks Paul, taken the same day as the other landscape shot. This was a barn behind the old house. It was on a hill and I was trying to get a 1/3 thing going with a good sky behind.

Thanks Armando, I was in the landscape mode with a very nice older Tamaron adaptall lens. This is near where I live in an older agriculture and ranch region. Some day many of these old ones will no longer grace the landscape. Thanks for your kind words and have a great weekend.

Thanks Julie, would love to show you this in person. Have been thinking about you lately, thanks for hearing my thoughts!! Marty gave me a great Tamaron lens I am using for landscape and this was a warm up. I get to hang pictures in a bank for 2 months with my contact info. Exciting for this GG.

Actually this was very sharp and tight before I uploaded it. When I looked at it now I see why you were disappointed.The print was great. I think it is great and have some others I will post. I think I just have to adjust my e¥es and diopter better. I shot from tripod and was trying to be good. Oh well, humanity wins again!! Thanks for the thoughts. first I have posted for a while.

Well I guess that Tamron 24mm isn't as good as the Canon 28mm you have.
This one seems a bit out of focus and too soft IMHO! I know it's a manual focus lens, so that might explain it? Maybe trying to ajust the diopter may help? The Tamron and Canon do not work the same way and it may have been in focus while shooting, but not so in the print?
On my new toy camera I did adjust the diopter, not so much for the image, but so I could read the veiwfinder info a bit better. LOL... My eyes are not getting any younger these days.

OK it's a barn but it still reminded me of 'The little house on the prairie' until I opened the thumbnail. Beautiful rich natural tones my dear Stan with pads of cotton wool floating in the sky. Absolutely delightful my friend. Cheers to you....Ray
