I like the shot, but I just wish skating and biking photographers didn't use the fisheye perspective so much. I'm waiting for somebody to start a new trend. Nice capture, though.

Great shot. Timing is a must in taking pictures of fast action shots. As being a skateboarder and skateboard and biking photographer I've learned alot about the kinds of lens and shutter speeds for these shots. When I first started shooting these shots I had that lens. I noticed with that lens that my pictures were having the edges out of focus. Another thing...Try shooting at 1/30 or 1/60 of a sec. and move with the person (you'll get the background blurred and it'll really show movement). Also before you shoot look at your surroundings to see if there's any distrcations (eg. a table or people in the background). Otherwise it's an amazing shot and a great angle!

Great shot. Timing of course, but there are lots of other reasons this is great. Composition, the blue clothing, and board together agsinst the natural wood helps it to not be too busy. Can't imagine you planned all that just luck of the draw, but it helps;o}

Well timed, Jake, and good use of fish-eye lens. I agree that the table is a little distracting. Looking at what's behind it you could clone over it. Alternatively, why not just change its colour?
My thirteen year old was very impressed, both by the photo and the trick ;)

well, it isnt actually a streak, its the table he is doing the trick off of. its a picnic table, it had this certain glossy coat over it so the sun relfecting off of it gave it a whiteish color, i tried to tone it down in PS but it just ruined the rest of the photo

I see you took the vantage points to heart, being under your subject is adding some nice air. You're getting better Jake, keep at it.
Can't go without a nit-pick. What's the white streak in the center right?
