Missed this one whilst I was away from UF Dave.
This is a most delightful landscape with beautiful pastel tones looking like a watercolour painting. I think this is a terrific shot through a window of a moving bus my friend. Well done you. My very best wishes to you as always......Ray

In spite of the restrictions you did very well Dave. Lovely lines & composition with great colour. The sharpness may have been lost due to distortions of the bus-window. A lovely image regardless!

Hi Dave, this an image where you want to, say a subject in the foreground to be in focus, but not the background. In this photograph, I wasn't really interested in the buildings in the background. And you'll note, they're out of focus because I don't want the viewer to pay much attention to them. So when you're taking your photographs and your focusing, doing your manually focusing. It's important to pay attention to what your depth of field is so you can understand what's even possible to get in and out of focus.
