Which perhaps boils down to the statement that nothing is as "normal" as it seems to be most of the time, I guess.

Most people will search for "new wonders" to discover and run over the planet in this quest. They don't understand that discovery means to see something that everybody has seen before and then to think of something that nobody ever has thought of before.

Cheers!

indeed so, only a many times there is an insatiable need to confirming the "specialness" of reality~ which, as simply as you put, takes a some light, little bending of the knee and the right eye, and voila...

cheers,
v.

Thanks a lot, Luis!

I already attached a b&w version of it in my reply to Marcio. I do find it also good.

Cheers!

WOW, that is indeed a creative angle. I like the colour version than black and white. Well done Nick.

Best Regards!

Thanks a lot for the nice detailed image, Visar!

It has no special "meaning" at least for me. Nothing else than how to provode some special "compliment" to the subject by careful composition, exposure and so on. This is just the stairhouse in the building where my flat is, and it surely looks "usual" mist of the time. But find the right angle, light, etc, and perhaps you make it look "special" though the reality is the same.

Cheers!

Thanks a lot for the nice detailed comment, Dan. Indeed that piece of bar at the tip left is not necessary. I should have omitted it.

Still I am very glad about this one. I stood there for half an hour and tried to compose as carefully as I could, which paid back, I think. We see how important it is to really study the subject if we want to enhance its own character.

Cheers!

Nice capture! You got a great angle and depth, but the B&W version, like Marcio suggested, is excellent too.
Best regards, Judson.

Impressive. I wonder how it would look like with just b/w?!

i had come back to this image many times Nick! and i could not deduct any special meaning, except for associating it with my imagination through the form, patterns, tones which all appeal to me.
I see a relation on a continuous sequence that goes on and rise up on the same sequence, until it stops (the end of the fence on the lower left corner). and, still i imagine the same pattern evolving under the same condition, endlessly, infinite...

i have to also mention that this very image, is by far my most prefered composition that i have seen in your strem!
absolutely great.

my complements, and cheers,
v.

Such a "head spinning" sensation! Such a wonderful abstract! I'd agree that the B&W version made it better. Best regards. (You're as prolific as usual :) )

Thanks a lot Marcio!

I am quite happy with it too.

The idea for a B&W is really good. The diffuse light disappears then but the clarity makes it more "solid" I have the impression.

Cheers!

Turned to B&W after Marcio's idea

Stunning shapes and patterns here Nick, I love the spiral it is just amazing and very unusual I think. Again wonderful POV and shooting angle. The hand rails look superb especially the golden highlights on the way down. I really like the composition here, the tiny bit of bar at the top left maybe should have been more included or maybe completely excluded I think.
