Hiya Dave, my turn to try and catch up following my absence.
This is a wonderful colourful composition my friend with lots of lovely natural tones. The balloon lady must have had a little bit of additional weight to help keep her grounded Well done on this Dave, I hope the holiday went well and that you enjoyed yourselves. My very best wishes to you as always.....Ray

Nice street shot Dave, I like the contrast between the expression on the lady's face and the bright coloured balloons. The other great thing about this image is how the direction that the saleslady is facing is exactly the same as the face of the "Littlest Mermaid" image on the balloon in the centre. A closer crop would really put the spotlight on that, if so desired. Andre

This is a very very good one, Dave! The exposure was just about perfect for me! The vividness of metallic colors and reflections on the baloons on the one hand and their plasticity on the other hand, make them really look as one could toich them. The same also for the woman that sells them. Especially the great clarity and plasticity on her face made it look real and human. Your focus and timing were exactly matching the perfectness of expisure too.
Not to mention the good contrast that the background walls provided, and the clear and balanced composition.
I don't have absolutely anything to suggest for a bettering here. Great work!
Nick

A very well captured contrast between the happy baloons & the sad expression on the bloon-lady's face. Thank you for your comment, Dave. The original object of my "cave" was a plant: Tragoporon coelesyriacus. Best regards, Rafi

Hi Stan, thanks for the comment! Yes, we were there and felt a few slight tremors. Fortunately we were quite a distance from the epicentre so there was no damage where we were. It's a real disaster for the affected area though, and our sympathies go out to all those who lost property and loved ones, as well as irreplaceable architecture. Dave.

Nice capture Dave. Glad that you were able to get some traveling in. This is a handful of color. Looks like it is about all she could handle. Did you buy one?? Good to see you back, were you in Italy during the quake? Be well, Stan
