I've already prayed for a smooth succesfull surgery for you. And I also had a vision. That a nice lady from a foreign country will come to you. Have no more details, maybe in a next vision.
Be well and wish ya good recovery and health.

Morning Harry, yes these are some magnificent birds. I just love watching them foraging along the creek and in the meadows. There are several pairs within a mile of my place. You can hear them during the day with there lilting conversations between them. Have a great weekend. I get my surgery at 7am on Mon. Looking forward to recovery and back to health.
be well, stan

Thanks Srna, I am working on becoming better with the bird shots. I find how hard it is when I look at some of the really good shots by others. I liked the way the sunlight was hitting them in flight. So graceful and so large are these Cranes!

This subject mediates through its successful formation the lightness of the bird flight and the distance in which the birds pull. Regards Gerhard

Just wish there was more I could do. Hard to sit on the side and watch or hear of the tragedies of all people that are suffering. We just have to help where we can and when we can. Take care!!

Yes Neel, these Cranes mate for life. I have seen them with a juvenile from last year near the creek near my land. Their lilting song echoes in the valley as they announce themselves. A very vocal bird with great vision.

Ciao Stan ,

Great wildlife shot . Like the timing with which you captured these cranes . I guess it is always difficult to catch birds when they are flying...

Bravo !

A couple, nice one Stan. At the end of winter Cranes used to come here too. I think it is their nesting time.

Take Care!

Thanks Saad, there are several mated pairs that have their nest near the creek. I watch from a distance to not disturb them. It is fun to see the young ones after they have hatched and to see them flying as well. I saw another pair this morning on a walk.
Be well my friend, Stan
