No the clouds were here, just not as many and as patterned as they were earlier.

Thanks a lot for the info, Dan!
So, may I assume that the clouds are added afterwards here? If so, then that was a great job in that sense. They look absolutely natural to me!

Thanks very much Nick, I don't normally do muc post processing on my shots, but this one needed quite a bit of treatment, thank heavens for RAW. I loved the cloud formation on this day, but the time I got to this spot to shoot them most of them had gone.

Thank you Roberto, lucky for me this was a Raw file because it was underexposed by clicks by accident.

Very very vivid and strong blue on the sky, Dan, which is augemented by the freshness of the greens and the water. The latter present so many well captured details under such a good exposure balance that the image looks absolutely natural and clear. I find the composition quite well done too, even if it is centered, since this time the shoreline itself carries the necessary elements for avoiding anything monotonous on the image. A good candidate for a picture book about the place, I guess!

Thanks Ray, yes the lens combo with the polariser really looks great I think also. I actually stuffed this shot and it was under exposed because I was in a rush to get the fluffy clouds before they had all gone. Luckily not enough that I still retained some good details to pull out during raw conversion.

Yes I loved the clouds this day, so drove down the road to this place to get some nice shots and the nicest clouds had gone, bo ho. Managed to catch the last few this evening. I really like the effect on the sky that the polarising filter has on the wide angle lens. Thanks again dear Ania

What a perfectly lovely scene my dear Dan with beautiful natural tones throughout. I love the effects the 17-40 have had on the skyline without affecting the rest of this glorious composition. Well done to you my friend. My very best wishes to you as always......Ray

No I am not actually watching the cricket. Yes the lens is nice, the wide angle lens produced nice gradients in the sky with a polarising filter. I prefer my 70-200 much sharper and faster focusing.
