Thanks Jon. Happy Spring right back to ya. Where haveyou and your wife gone recently for those crazy lunch/dinner dates? Those bits in the forground are cornstalks cut short from the harvest. And yes, while I do not make a practice of altering my images, I had to hit this one just a touch on sharpening becausewhen I rezied it, it wa crunched and blurred a tad. The original full size version remains untouched.

Great mood here. I would have said that the foreground is suffering from over-sharpening except that I know you don't do that sort of thing... it must just be the shadows of those reeds. Or you've really got that hyperfocal distance thing down pat!
