Hi David,
It feel sunny and bright! It is not always the great sharpness that counts but the feeling the viewer gets watching a photoghraph. I think this is a great capture!

Yes, unfortunately the loss of quality is quiite evident, but the idea is great and you had a very good eye in catching the symbol of the double fine web join. i have heard some people blow some white powder on webs to make them more visible.
