Simplistic approach to what was the dual lighting system in this old house my dear Saad. The old lantern placed strategically close to the electric lighting supply in case that failed. Basic conditions for those living there just six months ago. Well done to you my friend. Tke care, be well. My very best wishes to you as always.....Ray

Good details, Saad, and the shadow of the lantern gives here much, it's great.

Best wishes,

thank you Garry,a closer could make a great macro of the rusty lantern, and I have a thought of that, but the dim light in the upstairs room make me rise the ISO to 1600,and I had to shoot without looking at the viewfinder,I have thoughts of cropping, but avoided that in favor of the larger view that give us comparison with electric switches, and the shiny view outside through the open door,
be well and healthy,
Saad.

Excellent work once again Saad. It's interesting how you mention that everyone sees something a little different in this house, I'd go in closer but you've given us the bigger picture.
Regards, Gary
