Excellent Angle - I like how the sky is a small corner giving an escape ... but the main theme are the insecting angles ... good work

Yeah, that's good too. It seems to create a different dynamic having the point of the shadow almost dead centre.

Yes, go for it, it's a great subject. Actually I just tried cropping further to the right, to a square, and I think I like it even better - what do you reckon?

Thanks for the detailed comments Steve.

Cropped, no clouds

The blue and the orange work together very well. To enhance the "abstractness" of this image, I think I'd prefer a clear blue sky rather than the clouds. Having the sky clear would require more of a second look to work out what it is about. And there'd be more blue to work with the orange. Presumably this thing is not going to go away, so you could go back and try it on a clear day, and see what you think. It would be nice to get a bit of shine from the metal cladding too, although that might not happen - different time of day maybe? And finally, I'd be tempted to crop it to a vertical or square - just right of centre, either just left or just right of where the diagonal line hits the edge, but not so it goes exactly into the corner.

Excellent. Great composition and tones plus the blue sky in the corner tops the whole thing off.
