About A Sangoma is a traditional healer in my part ofd Africa. Witchdoctors (actually they don't really exist)but what is generally accepted to a layperson sometimes deals in in human body parts and such.

This lady has an University Degree but is a traditionalist. The initiate , the white t-shirted has just entered the real of the traditional healer. She has a long way to go.

These ceremonys are rarely photographed and quite private. I was fortunate to be invited. IOt has taken me a number of years before I had this oportunity.
