Hello Ray, I did love the way the sky looked that afternoon, part of this was a sunset the other smoke that came drifting in, it kind of made me think of gone with the wind, why I don't know. I do thank you for your kind words.
Oh, and I do love the Canon 50D, I Haven't got to get out much the last couple of weeks, husband was in Hospital for a few days, it has been 11 days and he is still sick. I hope to be out shoting again soon, but Husband comes first. BK

Hiya Barbara, you came back at long last and I have just returned after a break.
This is an amazing composition. I love the heavy graining effect and those tones are simply breathtaking. The scene is desolate and looks filled with destruction and yet it is so beautifully composed that it looks lovely through that undercurrent of negative appearance. I love those silhouetted skeletal trees and the depth you have achieved.
It appears that you are getting on just fine with your 50D....ditto me. Hope you post some moe soon, miss seeing your work sweetie. Take care, be well. HUUUUGS and my very best wishes to you......Ray
