I told Kat to 'give me a compact pose so you're in close to those killer shoes' and this is what she gave me. I didn't hesitate to drop to my belly and shoot this.

Hi, Paul, I wand to make a correction on the paragraph I wrote----"the Glam series was more of a distraction” I mend the effects not your photography!!!! but not denied the rest I hope you understand...also your present shot it part what I have been talk here in UF "Creativity" and that is the key in photography...so if you prefer from me kisses and 7/7 and Wow’s for everything you post then you don't have to look farther but not in me I'm not that type of photographer don’t need the proof either!!

Yes, I noticed how the lighting emphasized all the bumps on her left thigh, but didn't feel compelled to further soften that lighting horizon.

Well, Paul, my 2 previous message should justify what was talking about :) for me fashion can be a truly boring subject, it requires great effort of creativity to succeed thought honestly the Glam series was more of a distraction but nerveless others have different taste...but my taste not based of what others think I'm usually know what I'm talking about:)cheers for your great shot!!!!

Beautiful and original composition! Great lighting, model's pose and dynamism.
About lighting: its angle, together with the the 17-85 sharpness at f6.8, produces a "nasty" effect on the girl's left leg. Don't know if this may be a useful advice but I hope so; not a critique, of course.
