About While visiting Pearblossom I always try to stop in at the Devil's Punchbowl State park. This area is beautiful but nortoriously hot during most months because of the elevation. It's basically a hole in the desert with beautiful mountains surrounding the area. Always best viewed and hiked during the spring & winter months. This was just a second of "magic light" that crossed the path on the circular hike through the "bowl".
