oh and the bulidings are on a lean as well.. well not in real life obviously but you were holding the camera crooked

smudge budge.. a simple reflection of the internals of the hotle wall sheesh who cares mind you if you had put your lense closer to the window you would have eliminated it.. just make sure to turn your lens off auto focus as with it pressed against the glass if it tries to AF the lens will push back against you as it tries to focus.. this can destroy the focussing motors... I learned that the hard way

That smudge is the light refraction from the hotel window... canna help it... not my fault. I could crop it out... but that would leave the image lacking. I could PS the smudge out... but that would violate EVERYTHING I stand for in photography... the smudge stays.
