45 Minutes to walk around and it is man made... Amazing! A man made lake of more or less the size of Lake Davos! Great!
As about emotions, well, we neither think with "mind" alone, nor we feel with "heart" alone. And it is also good this way.
Cheers!

It takes 45 minutes to walk around. Its man made and the view to the bench is about 300 meters. You are right, it is mixed with my own emotions.
Jassou !

Fishing lake? Interesting! It looks rather small on the image. Is it connected with some other bigger lake, or perhaps with the sea?
Anyway, of course I can't share your impressions and memories from the image itself, but I think I understand what you mean, Harry. Many times some special shot remaina in our minds as a whole process compressed onto the image. All things that happened are there for the photographer, and the hard thing is to let the image tranfer those things as impressions into the minds of the spectators.
Cheers!

Thanks Nick,
It is not my super image competing for "image of the day" . But it has many memories to me. The water is a fishing lake and i took the shot on yhe other shore, about 200 meters away. I even remember I made the photo. So for me I leave the ice in ;-) Jassou !

Hi Harry, .. Well, it's not easy to criticize after Nick !. 'cause he goes through all details ! Just can say , I wouldn't keep this big white area if I were the photographer ! Be well Aziz

A hard one to shoot and even harder to look at, Harry. The top half would have been a good one already, but then that big white comes, and I am inclined to say that it is too much. Almost as if the "film" was completely wiped out. But in this case it also does something, doesn't it? It adds distance, I have the impression. The bench looks much further away than without it. The whole "other side" would rather be "this side" of the river, if that white wouldn't be there. So the depth seems to be multiplied, and with it also the support for the quietness of the resting place "far away". (Many times such quiteness gets enhanced through their appearance "far away". :-/ )
The details at the background are OK and they seem to be softened up by light dispersion on the contours on the many branches. It makes it look more sunny than frozen.
Interesting anyway, and still I don't know if I like it or not. But it is remarkable in its own way.
Cheers!
Nick
