Great shot Dave. Very cute but frozen looking dog. Get it inside and stay warm in the "Peg".

Good details and color on the dog, and the snow did work very well as a background. It really brings the dog right into the center of interest, as it seems to be the only thing "available" on the image. I don't know if the image could have a higher contrast - it is hard to say by the presence of so much white. I think it does need it but I am not sure. Hard job to do, anyway.
Cheers!
Nick

Nice shot Dave, The white snow really ICEolates her, would make an easy selection to put her in some future photo if the need should arise, well done.

Excellent... amazing the effect of snow here so the dog in that bright brown color looks...alone! hahaha... ok, not exactly like the movie "alone into the darkness" however that element adds a lot on the photo, very nice!

Hi Stan, thanks for the comment! She's a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, pure bred, 31/2 years old. We've had her for about three weeks and the shot was taken about 10 days ago. Dave.

Why not? With focus and contrast against the snow what is not to like? Very nice capture and very fun. Was this a recent shot? Is this a Cocker mix or pure bred? Keep warm and watch out for the yellow snow. Be well, Stan

Of course I can stand another pet-shot. What I suppose I could not stand is my bare feet in the snow... I would freeze! Thank you, Dave, for your comment. Rafi

Fabulous Dave. You post as many pet shots like this as you like. The details are wonderful and the fur tones superb. I just love the tiny paw impressions in the snow and the minimalistic approach to the composition. Well done to you my dear friend, I just love it. My very best wishes to you as always.....Ray
