ggreat idea here but the title is about the palace and it looks like the flowers take up more space than the buildign so i wouldve tilted the camera up a little so taht there werent so many flowers and a little more sky. also, i wouldve stood up a little more...

Hi Bill *smile*...I like the basic compositiion and angle you took this shot at too...but I think your horizon is a bit croaked by looking at the building and the angle of the flowers.
I took the liberty of taking it into PS where I straightened it a bit...made a small crop on the right and gave it a little sharpen. See what you think...*smile*...Maggie

It does seem out of focus. The eye keeps trying to focus on something and failing. Composition is nice, but the pillar (tombstone?) to the right should indeed not be there. Cropping off a bit on that side would also remove the single tulip outside the mass of flowers there.

Nice shot, Bill, great colors. I usually detest flower pics, but this one ain't bad at all. The focus seems a little soft, and the pillar at the right seems out of place. Overall a nice travel idea.
