About	Big surprise here. While I was in the old stomping grounds I took a short trip south. Even the place where I saw my first drive-in theater movies was gone. My memories were strong. My youth was gone. I saw "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken" and "The Love Bug" at this drive-in. On the south edge of the parking lot there had been a small amusement park with pony rides, a little Ferris wheel and swings and such.

aint that just the truth of it... lovely image mate.. the Caringbah Drive In where I saw "Reach For The Sky" with me mum n dad and of course later as a young lad about town took my girlfriend there many a time had a camping body in the old EJ Holden which meant the front seat back lay back and level with the seat of the back seat.. so me n Kay a chinese take away a bottle of wine and a packet of Lollygobble Bliss Bombs not that we saw many of the movies if you know what I mean ahh now.. yet another hugs shopping centre mally kind of thing with no style at all
