Thank you very much Nick. Personally I also like this photograph. Nicely explain on this floral photograph. Rose is one of my favorite flower, not only for it's essence, for it's shape too. Very attractive. It was in my graden. I have taken this photograph after rain so I didnt spray water on it.

And even more elegant on the image, that is! It does take not only "the eye" as many too many underline at first place, but also and especially the mind in order to select the perfect frame and exposure that first makes that elegance visible on the image. Photography's essence is not to satisfy the feelings of the photographer but much more to make visible, remarkable, tangible what the photographer's eye saw. Because the spectator has no communication line to the photographer's mind but only the cmmunication line to his ir her images!
Having said that, I hope it is clear how this one almost celebrates that elegance, ey? It is the very natural combination of rose/green, the focal separation between the subject and its scene, the very sophistictaed lighting that makes the rose look light, airy, and at the same time senitive. And it also provided the appropriate appearance for the droplets. And it helped the contours of the petals take a very fragile kind of presence. And.. and... and...
Most of the time the typical flower image is just betrayal camoufladged as "photography". Here it is not. It is photography!
