I find this image so spiritual. Even though it looks so dangerous I too would keep walking. Usually when we think "spiritual" we think going up but now this great photograph made me wonder. I also can imagine our cousins the "Lusitanos" waiting to ambush a bunch of Romans. An excellent photograph my friend.

That's exactly the cut I would have made.The curve of that mountain top in the distance is perfect.I find that the chopped-off mountain top pulls my eye back to it over and over again and destroys the balance of a beautiful landscape,one of the best I've seen in B/W for a long time.

Thanks Tony, you are right, because of that I was thinking of cropping even more at the top, but in the end i prefer this version

Great scene and composition with truly excellent PP work which bring out the contrasts beautifully.It's a pity then that you chopped off the top of the mountain.
