another good catch, Chuck. There is a Weegee photograph of a drowned boy at Coney Island in the 40's, in which the guy's girlfriend sees Weegee and smiles for the camera while a foot away from the covered body of the victim, with a crowd looking on. It's eerie, of course. This reminds me of that photo.
