About The first image of this sub-series with a similar subject like on "The devil was a piece of wood".

The dark iron bar on the top puzzles me a lot. Should I crop it off? Anyway, any comments would be very welcome.

For me it is also the best one of the three, Gustavo.

Thanks again!

Nick,

just perfect the way it is. The dreamy swirling mist at the bottom gives a wonderful effect. One of your best yet I feel.

Regards,

Robert.

Me gusta mucho, la mejor de la serie en mi opinión, la elección del B&W es muy adecuada y el enfoque y la DOF también, tiene buenos brillo en el hielo.

Felicitaciones!

Thanks a lot for the nice comment and the idea, Dave!

Well, if I rotate the image, then the water will not be leveled. So I guess that I should have used a better angle for that while I was shooting, for having the iron bar leveled too.

Cheers!

Thanks a lot, Harry!

You mean leveling for getting the iron bar horizontally? If so, then the water will not be horizontal. So I guess that I shouldn use another angle at shooting time for having the iron bar at the top leveled too.

Cheers!

I like this one the best, Nick, with the fuller shape of the icicles. I think the iron bar is OK there, to frame the top of the shot, but it could be a little straighter.
Dave.

Excellent nick, the bottom adds a lot.
Needs a slight levelling.
