They had a nice platform on one end so you could a elevated viewing angle.

Ah... the wonderful B-25 Mitchell medium bomber. This version was probably the most effective and gave the bad guys something to stay away from. Too bad you couldn't get a tight angle shot of the nose so you could show all fourteen .50 cal machine guns.
