Yes! Exactly that's it! There is perspective but one can't really say what kind of perspective that is! Escher's way indeed!
Thanks for igniting the spark in my brain again, Avi!
Cheers!

I know what you mean. It has a quality of M C Escher in it.. it creates a kind of riddle/enigma. :)
cheers !

Yes, exactly! It was "No looking back", and thanks a lot for the URL, Avi!!! To me this one is the quintessence of it all. It is "real" and "unreal" at the same time. I can't describe it any differently.
Just take your time and do your things first. No need to hurry with "Manhattan". I just wait.
Cheers!

the other one is called 'no looking back', and does not include the full figure of the reflection, only the legs (hence, more stress on the movement):

cheers! Avi
P.S. - I am a bit busy.. trying to get the 'manhattan' to print.. will keep you posted..

And it is en extreme composition too, Avi! A combination of a very strong, almost violent perspective with leading lines that make it unavoidable for the spectator to sink into the depth, and then another almost violent dematerialization of a silhouette that seems to be right about to accelerate and escape the image from the left side. Those lines of reflections at the right seem to be the speedy place which the figure is about to enter.
The abstraction degree is very high here, and that despite the fact that you didn't use any "false enhancements", like adding imaginary objects and the like. It's all real and yet abstract. It reminds me of that other image of yours which was similar (what was its name?) in many ways, but this one seems stronger, much stronger to me!
Cheers!

I like this image very much and from the thumbnail thought it was simular to your portfolio image - which in some ways it is - I wanted to tell you how much I like it and then I spotted this one - I like the contrasting tones, the feeling of fast motion , and of course the touching of reflections - This image surely makes me think and to view it for a loooong time seeing so many things and so many words in this image- 5,000 words-:)) I like it too Avi - a very good and interesting image -
Cheers, michele~
