About After travelling for hundreds of miles, this once untamed river nears the end of its flow. I had missed the opportunity on several occasions to catch a decent image of this river from this aspect and this time I would not miss it.

I wondered who would be the first to ask. This is a section of the Colorado River... the real one, not the creek in Texas. According to my GPS receiver at the time, this was close to the mid-point between Quartzite and Yuma. Not a real friendly place... very rough country.
