To me Avida there was two things..one, the vibrant yellow contrasting with the other muted colors and the contrast between the place and things being sold :)

The colors , dof, and pov are great. 'm not sure for the effect made a distortion on background.
The way that first man looks to the camera added to the value.

I see colors.. a wide array of dark, rich, moist, saturated colors... that, coupled with the excellent use of the wide angle and the low POV makes this an absolute stunner for me !! bravo ! :)
