Jeroen, agree on your suggestion howerver on the original I saw clearly that glass belly at the nose. Whatver the origin is, the formation of the small planes next to the wings makes me curious. Any idea ?

Nah, that would be an obvious target. Just wondering why two small fighters are that close, not for protection bcse for protection you make sure you are not seen but ready to strike.
It was in 2006, the time of the pollonium poisoning.Putin was not travelling. And I am pretty sure it was the sovjet ilusyin bcse I saw the glass belly plus more stuff.
Maybe they came from an airshow. harry

The reflection on the wingtip suggests it's got winglets. No Soviet transport planes do, only the C-17 matches that configuration, which would make it a US or UK aircraft.

could be something like the president's airplane with the fighter planes around for protection??? :-) ok, that also could be a test flight, but surely it's a unique view, to see small fighters and 3 planes in just one frame... good one. be well!
