Great one Avi! I think what makes it effective is your waist angle? and almost curved poses of the people. Very nice work!

Thanks Ian. This curious ensemble of different size framed photos have a unique similarity: all these shots were taken by different anonymous photographers, and each of them have the respective photographer's shadow in it. :)

A great, really great image, Avi! Both for its lighting and composition/timing. As if they just took the best possible positions for such a great photo! Or, and this is more important, as of the photographer had the patience to wait, take several shots, make the best possible image out of the scene. Only that girl at the left could move a bit more inside the image, but the weight of the many guys that stand so "parallel" to each other is way way greater. It simply "overweights" that partially taken girl. (I mean "taken" into the image - not the other "taken", ey? ;-))
There is motion and there is standstill on the image, Ani. And I don't only mean the many images hanging on the wall in contrast to the people that seem to slowly pass by. I mean the people themselves too. They are walking, slowly, but walking. One can see that immediately! Still the fact that you "crystalized" a single moment out of that passing by, introduced the idea of standing in front of the images.
Another good thing: The light! Not only that it is very well balanced, but also that the presence of so many people makes visible that the light falls "linear" from the top left, somewhere outside the image. This makes the space also visible in some unusual way - it makes the atmosphere of the room tangible, when some light source is positioned in such a way that it exactly enhances the objects that have to be seen. This makes it so live that I almost hear thoses stepping noises in the otherwise very low sound intensity of such a place.
Such a good view! Cheers to that!
Nick

Nice tonal range. Its a real shame your shadow is not in this and then maybe it could hang beside them!!
