thx for ur visit and comment dear ian... this place is very old...the is a river"zayandeh rood" near this place and the is a birdge "marnan" the zartoshtians did cross of it and came here... i visited another place in yazd city-iran last mounth there was a fire on about 1500-1600 years and never did off until today... this is my last web & photography:

Nice documentary capture,Reza. During W.W.II in Esfahan was camp for Polish orphans kids,many of them are in Canada now.You can find more info if you like. Be well my friend.

hi dear wolf, thx for ur comment and visit... i dont know what have to say in english...but in persian we call to these peoples "zartosht"and its a religion!their god is fire...many years old before islam the religion of persian peoples was zartosht! their book i think named "avesta" u can see the distance over it and at night it was so beutiful big fire and seen from many far places... i am designing a web site: www.esfahanexpo.com and for more info u can check it out later... all thing i said about zartosht was in my memory..and i will ask and write exactlly every thing about this in the sfahan site... for more history thing u can check out my web site and click on iranology botton: www.photoexpo.ir regards reza.
