I remember that from some time ago... or was it only similar? Anyway the timing was just perfect, as the little guy seems to hover over the steps - that in turn seem to be just a vertical plane if we don't concentrate on the child! And this is for me the very special thing here. To have some kind of "hidden" depth that reveals itself only by taking into visual account the whole image!
The lighting balance was again great. It allowed the face expression of the small protagonist to burn well on the image. And this enhances his enthusiasm for just hopping down the stairs! (I wanna do that too! Now!!!)
And as the composition itself is so well balanced too, with the regular pattern of the stairs and the welcome "change" by the presence of the kid, I must say: Great photography again!

This really jumps out. In the peace of a well defined structure jumps the boy, he seems to fly, feel a crop of 2, 3 4 steps below would give it a slight better balance but i may be wrong.
