You just have to wait until the people get lost, or simply go there at the right times of the day. In railway stations it is easy. After the train departs you always have some minutes with very very few people on the platforms and especially at the start or the end of them, since most people wait somewhere in the middle of the platform. So it's only observing how people act and react.
