That is exactly the problem, Gustavo. It's the darkness that gives a good contrasts to the peaks and the sky, but how much of it is OK? That's the question.
Anyway, mountains *are* dark many times.
Cheers!

Un magestuoso paisaje, aunque yo los prefiero mas luminosos. Un abrazo!

Thanks a lot for the detailed and nice comment, Francisco!
Actually it is some kind of "bettering" of the other one ("Right before the start of the day"), which was even darker. Indeed the exposure is here really dark on the mounts themselves. Some detail is visible but I guess still not enough. I think that a bit more expsosure wouldn't get the snowy peaks overexposed yet, but only experimentation will say that. My own wish would be a film with extreme dynamics range, but still I'm searching for that.
As about scanning ist is already high bit but adjusting too much introduces quite an ugly blueish noise too, and the whole gets too bad for my taste. Same goes for dodging too.
About composition, indeed some more sky over the mountains woulddo good here.
I keep on trying and hoping. Thanks a lot once again, and cheers!

Wonderful locale and strong composition; however, I think that there the crop is too tight, the peak at the top left corner is cut by a couple millimiters and that's a bit distracting. It seems to me a bit underexposed as the shadow detail of the houses and forest is almost gone. I know it's a difficult shot because increasing the exposure may overexpose the snow. It would be possible to adjust the curves from a high-bit scan of your film and retrieve these wonderful shadows.
Excellent!
Cheers!
