It can work together Stan. The current situation is nothing more than paranoia taken to the extreme by a group of controlfreaks who themselves are envious of the people they control (many of them don't earn enough to fly on vacation or anywhere) and now have found a way to take out that envy on the passengers.
The "no liquids" thing especially is utter insanity. There is no scientific basis in it whatsoever. While it is indeed possible to make liquid explosives with seemingly harmless components, the processes involved are tricky and dangerous and rather impossible to perform on an airliner in flight without people taking notice. And taking active liquid explosives is also not an option as these liquids are highly unstable and would either explode prematurely or decay into harmless substances before they could be used.

Dear Jen! Thanks so much that you direct us for some realities of daily life as we live without understand. In the name of being civilized we are applying a torture to each other or a nation to another nation. I never understand a diversity is treasure. Very clear and sharp daily life shot ALI

Well, I am happy you do agree with me that this is all getting out of hand these days, lets start to forbid all weapons in different countries, if we want the same rules everywhere;)) And thats what I said about those different airports, like Dublin or even London, where they didnt control me, even Madrid was an easy way to go through last year, well for us even better, if I want to bring something nasty I can anyway, it will be hard to find.....flying is hard work now a days:) You can still buy nail scissors at airports, haven't looked for Swiss knives...:))
ps. Woww you will have this big adventure there, please take care, will you?? And I heard people are very nice in Marocco, so you might be able to stay with Berbers in their tents??? Might be wonderful!! Dont forget your camera please!! I want sunsets and exhorsted men:))) Be well and enjoy your trip my dear:)) xxJen

Trusten vriendheer, Jenxx

Knowing what you mean my sweet friend and of course some things has to be changed, but it was such a mess and if you miss your plane because of all this you're just not happy! Every country seems still have different rules, even here in Europe, trying to be all one... My day was so so, but well after a good night sleep it might be better:) Have a great evening, hoping your day was very nice:)) Hugs and kisses, Jenxx

Lets see what will happen next month, will be there in time hopefully:) Sleep well, Jenxx

Too right, Jen. Maybe it IS possible to blow up a plane with a lipstick, but it strikes me as pretty unlikely and this all looks to me like a typical government knee-jerk reaction. And there are still plenty of airports where security is lax if you are really determined. (BTW, I wonder if you can still buy Swiss Army knives AFTER security at Zurich airport - you certainly could a couple of years ago!)
A telling shot - and I see that YOU made it through, and got upstairs to the bar area that appears to be empty!
AJ
PS. Cycling across the northern tip of Morocco for the next couple of days - we haven't been able to find any info about places to stay so are just going to take pot luck...

Byebye beste vriendin,

Thank you dear John, was afraid it would be too dark inside, because flash is of no use in here with this distance....;) Poor ants really, it took hours and hours...and we all have to put our lipsticks and mascara's in plastic bags you have to pay for even......lolll The sign was just great, and if you think camera's are cheaper at the airport........no ways, much more expensive even:)))) Big hug, thanks for making me smile! Thank you my sweety, I know we have lots and lots of trouble with this too! I think it will make more sense if every country has the same, but in my experience its just a few countries doing this! Like Ireland some months ago nothing has been checked, did you expect that?? Big airport like Dublin? Even Eindhoven in the south of Holland which is smaller did check my shoes...loll but not my bags at all!! I had the same probs on Frankfurt and will have the same again next month there, because I fly with Lufthansa, taking me ages to change flights and will be checked by luggage all over again, just changing flights:( Not really looking forward, but what can we do?? Just try to enjoy and take all the time we need, I live quite far from the airport, 3 hours all together, so this will be 6 with checking in, great fun!!:))) I will be well, hoping you too, big hugs and kisses, no sun today but will get better soon, Jenxx

Night Keith, missed you again somehow...hmzzz For our own good, have you got the same there?? Its just rediculous and waste of time and lots of money!! If they would do this on all the airports, yes!!! But if I leave from a smaller one nothing almost happens, or from different, even European countries they dont check! Also have to check in 3 hours before leaving, dont say my mascara or Labello is dangerous, if I get metal knifes and forks in the plane...loll So, next month will be happy travelling again, at least I am able to, hope indeed to cu soon my dear:))) hugs and kiss, Jenxx
