I unfortunately don't use Raw format - it's only jpg high, but there was amazing light there:)
I know its SHE, because of the colour of her feather - HE has it in different colour - you can see it on my another pic:)

Yours is definitely too bright - probably overexposed.
Maybe you should check your screen - because nobody else except you doesn't accuse me of too dark pics.

Great shot Ania.
Wonderful colour and of course I like to see the feet, but I think it is a little on the dark side. I played a little bit with the exposure and gamma levels. Please find my suggestion attached below.
