I see what you mean, Puven. Unfortunately trees won't care about photographic matters, and so the photographer has to carry also some other things, like for example an axe, a chainsaw, and perhaps also some TNT! ;-)

thanks for your generous rating and comments. Yeah I did try cropping the tree off but it looked better his way due to balncing the sides. I agree it wud have looked better without the tree, I shall go chop it down tomorrow hehehe just kidding....

Another work that reminds me of the perfect photographers of National Geographic, for its sense for the special produced out of the quite usual. And here I must refer to that again: It's not how "spectacular" you subject is, but only how you capture it. That dried out seagrass (or whatever it is) under that light in the front is both of such a nicely detailed nature, as also a good hint for optical size and distance. The balance of light throughout the picture agrees very tightly with the same balance on all specific details of the scene.
Perhaps some things on the edges would be better absent, like the tree on the top left. And perhaps the shadows could have stronger contours in the sence of being darker.
On the other hand, this is the typical, rather soft light of the scence, and you caught that the "high fidelity" way. I guess there is no reason to try to add more spectacularity than that which is already available by the *available* light. The subtler tones are the best, and in this sence I must give it a 7!
