I took my 300/4.5 EDIF AI and my monopod because, since I always shot it handheld, I still had doubts about its sharpness. No more!! The lens is amazing, it was my fault I didn't had too many extremely sharp images. With the monopod it's simply almost as sharp as my 180/2.8 ED AIS. Colors are great. I'm really happy with the results as I was considering selling this lens.
It overexposed a bit since light changed very fast due to fast moving clouds aqnd Little She moved even faster ;-)
