Founded in 1699, this convent has a beautiful patio and garden area. The nuns who lived here came from the wealthy families of Puebla, Mexico and were known for their baked goods. The 1717 earthquake destroyed most of the original buildings, but they were rebuilt in 1734.
Wow what a beautiful facade Alison, I would just love to photograph this kind of stuff...beautifully captured, nice light, colors and textures...well done! :)
Well done view of these ruins, Alison! I like the way you've shot through the various archways and windows to the back. Very good detail and textures, too. Dave.
