Great job Annemette! I like the textures here very much!
Your tonal range is superb to say the least! Love the
colors and the focus on the eyes! The all important eyes
of a portrait! Im guessing that is the stump of a tree?
If so.....Perfect use for it! A wonderful job of processing

Oh, you´ve been suffering from this for that long?? I´m so sorry to hear that, Minoo. I guess that it is hard to keep away totally when one works by the computer. Thanks for the advice which I haven´t heard about before.
Yes, I also think this is a great age for her to start playing being five years old. I hope so much that she´ll have inherited some of the musical genes that runs in my family:-)

I am really sorry to hear about your arm. I know what it is like, because I have had since 2000. To you have to wear a neck brace too. You should go swimming often; that was the only thing that really helped me.
I am sorry for having been neglectful for a while. But I will try to catch up, sooner or later. Too much work and flu ....
That is great that Anna Sophie will start music. That's the best age. I hope she will find it interesting and that her first teacher would be a good psychologist as well as a good music teacher to cultivate enthusiasm in her.
You too take care and give Anna Sophie a big hug for me, please.

Oh hello there Minoo:-)
Good seing you. I´ve been more or less absent for a while due to my hand and arm that are injured from working too much by the computer. Silly to ignore pain I know and now I pay the prize needing to stay off the computer, but I can´t!
I hope you´re feeling well:-)
Oh yes, I´ve found a musicschool in the area where Anna Sophie can start playing the violin from the coming summer. That will be wonderful for her - I hope. If not she can try the piano instead or whatever she feels for.

I love this picture. It is so suggestive and beautiful. I like the idea of leaving the eyes "intact" (well, relatively speaking). And the look in the eyes adds so much life to the overall image.
