I don't know why, paul, but this one reminds me of the 1960's in all its appearance and attitude! It is very well taken, as exact as it can be, but there is a (welcome) departure from the styles of the other ones. Perhaps exactly because Ashley is a dancer - and I have to also note here that it seems to be exactly this, that makes her pose to *not* look like a pose at all, but rather natural.
Again, continuing my usual poisonous comments, this could be shown to the many to many self-presenting posers here, that look more laughable that anything on their poses on images. >:-D Ashley shows what *has* to be done - and this is work! We are not born with such an experience by the grace of heavens.
Further on, I see again those rather washed out, pale colors, that match very well the industrial look of the surroundings. But here, quite contrary to Mel, I see also something very sensible right in the middle of the hard surroundings. Much like... flowers in the dustbin - if you allow this phrase, which is meant very positively. We have some kind of hidden sensitivity for simply being able to carry on in such a hard place? This is what I think about this image.
The explicit details on her skin - just look at her face and neck/throat - are both a demonstration for excellently taken images, but they also support that kind of "fragile" look. But the quintessence of that is perhaps best shown by her eyes - and to capture such a vague haze of melancholy one has to have both the eye and much more the experience!
More than a great job, Paul - much much more than this! I could view such images for hours!
